Time Management: Effective or Efficient

Get a CRM. Preferably one that is designed for your industry, or at the very least that can be easily modified. I have been through several and it is no fun to switch, but how else can you keep track of 100s or 1000s of people and the interactions you have with them?
Use it. No matter how good or bad your CRM is, if you don't use it, it can't help you.
Schedule it. Haven't called that client in six months and found out they just did something cool with someone else? Check your CRM
Track it. Just completed a marketing campaign and need to see responses or set a follow-up routine? I don't care how good you are at Excel. Spreadsheets can't do this for you.
Improve it. Now that you have some recorded history you can see what worked and what didn't. Lots of talk about iterate, fail, improve, repeat. Smart usage of a CRM will help this process. A LOT.
Repeat it. The power of establishing a rhythm that works for you and produces results is a powerful thing.
